Days 118-119: Marital test/date-building furniture together (NOT from IKEA)

Well, guys, we did it! We had some furniture projects that we simply had not gotten to yet and we are feeling refreshed and refurbished in what feels like a whole new home (okay, maybe not completely new)!

Anyone else feeling daunted yet?

We got this!

First up: a coffee table and every lamp on the planet we could afford and/or was donated to us from kind friends and family!

Here is our completed lamp forest!

After Alex said, "Let there be light! (and then we went through several light bulbs)", there was light! Now for the finishing touches on the side table...

All finished with the new side table!

Rory is intent on helping as much as he can with all of the unboxing!

Or maybe just a small nap will do...

No worries, it seems like he has this well in hand!

Now we are onto: the new bookshelves!

Is this way up? Still no correct directions to be found...
