Day 56: Cinco de Mayo

Tonight Alex surprised me with Cinco de Mayo themed dinner. As a couple still in our first year of marriage, we are choosing to continue enjoying the things we were looking forward to well before a pandemic was on the horizon. Although most things are now modified, it is giving us an opportunity to exercise both our creativity and curiosity. For tonight, that meant that Taco Tuesday turned into a feasting celebration right in our living room.

We re-lived memories from our trip to Quintana Roo in Cancun, Mexico this past December and planned upcoming vacations in our mind for sunnier days ahead. Did you and/or your friends celebrate the holiday?
