After all of the concern and shuffling around the inclement here, we took Friday as a catch up day to rest and connect with each other, as well as family. We talked with grandparents over the phone and with some of our friends from New York over FaceBook video. Since New York has been one of the hardest hit places in the U.S.A, it felt really good to touch base with them and hear about how they are doing.
We talked about our faith and feelings with it being a holy day in many religions during both Passover and Easter right now. Connection to the universe not only provides me with comfort, but also motivation to feel hopeful when I am down.
We also had some time to take it slow in front of the T.V. and read out loud before bed. Chamber of Secrets is just as good as ever. :). Sometimes it really is the small things that demonstrate the greatest value of all.
Prepare, don't panic.
